WHEN I DECIDED TO FEED MY EYES AND MY HEART WITH ART

My love for art began when I was a child, in my father’s workshop, who is also a restorer of books, volumes and paper material.
I grew up among silks, French papers, leather backs and gold leaves.
I love art and I am an incurable enthusiast: 30 years ago, at the end of the degree course, I decided to open a restoration studio to be able to live and work surrounded by works of art…

If a chair breaks, it gets repaired, but if the chair is from Brustolon, it gets restored.
Proper restoration restores historicity and pictorial dignity to the work, giving backrestoring its original aesthetic appearance and increasing its commercial value…

HOW TO CHOOSE A RESTORER?
It is not easy to choose an expert and capable restorer, because even a collector, even if prepared, does not have all the necessary skills to evaluate the opportunity of a restoration intervention…

How I work

RESEARCH

The management and protection of a work of art are the result of historical-scientific studies aimed at recognizing the artwork and defining the economic evaluation criteria.

THE ANALYSIS

The non-invasive diagnostic tests that are performed at the studio are: UV fluorescence, IR reflectography, X-ray and stereoscopic microscope analysis.

THE RESTORATION

Through an analytical program it is possible to proceed with the restoration intervention justified both from a historical and aesthetic point of view, always respecting the work of art.
